An ambitious project
conceived by the cultural wing of the Government of
West Bengal. She was commissioned to design costumes
around some of Satyajit Ray’s period-films
like 'Charulata', 'Ghare Baire' and 'Satranj Ke Khiladi'. |

Celebrated the Purushotsav,
that is, designing around Hindu customs that are primarily
centered around men. It was a male fashion show at Maurya
Sheraton, Delhi, choreographed by Noyonika Chatterjee and
Directed by Prasad Bidapa, along with an Exhibition. |

 Felicitated
and awarded by Mr. Vijay Mallya, U.B.Group (Mcdowell 100 years)
for significant contribution to Indian clothing design
at Oberoi Grand, Calcutta along with a fashion show. |

| 1999 |
 Intercard
felicitation at Ashok Airport Hotel, Calcutta along
with a fashion show. Awarded 'Bharat Nirman'
for the best person in the field of fashion in Calcutta. An
Exhibition and Fashion show at Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh
with an overwhelming reaction both from the press and public.
Special facilitation by Sheraton Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
An exclusive exhibition presented by Oxford Art Gallery on
creative aspect of Sharbari-collection in Calcutta. |

| 2001 |
 Awarded
" Kingfisher Hall of Fame Fashion Award"
for life time achievement presented by Mr. Vijay Mallya at
Oberoi Grand in Calcutta. Had a show on first ever gold fashion
jewellery for men at Taj Bengal, Calcutta. Presented by World
Gold Council, directed by Mr. Prasad Bidapa. Awarded
Vocational Excellence Award 2001 by Rotary
Club of Calcutta, Inner Wheel on June 2001. Awarded Kingfisher
Accessory Designer of the year in Bangalore. |

| 2004 |
Global launch
of her designerwear in London, Paris, Dubai, Dhaka, New York,
San Fransisco, Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago. She has been
approached by a leading US based event consultant, Kala
Music and Play (KMP), to present her creation internationally,
starting with a show at New York on the 17th of April, 2004. |
